NOTE:
These things aren't really as bad as some people make them out to be. Mashengo and I tried an Ul'Yovra the other day and we (75 THF/NIN, 75 WHM/BLM) were able to pretty much go toe-to-toe with it without any real problem. It has pretty horrible accuracy, but when it does hit, it hits very hard. Mashengo was able to avoid most of it's nasty AoEs by staying out of range. Also, it doesn't attack too terribly fast and daggers seemed to do fairly good damage against it. The only reason I could see that the two of us weren't able to defeat it was because it had a pretty insane Regen rate. Each round, I'd have it down to around 97-98% and then it would be back to 100% after the next tick. After about five solid minutes of getting practically nowhere, we decided to call it a stalemate and Teleport out.

Also, I hear they're easy to sleep, so if you get Charmga'd, just Sleepga the whole lot. I don't see any reason why a well balanced party of 5 or 6 people couldn't easily take one down. However, I might recommend a NIN or THF tank because of their natural evasion and shadows (they do hit hard if they connect).
