Perih Vashai (Vashai's residence, Windurst Woods K-7)	In order to become a truly great hunter, one must be accepted by mother nature. In order for that to happen, one must gain the fang of a tiger, the fanged king. But it does not sound like any old fang will do...

Go to the cave in the east upper-plateau of Sauromugue Champaign (L-10). If you're powerful enough, force your way past the Sabertooth Tigers that dwell inside this cave; if not, have a white mage cast Sneak and Invisible. You can also ride your Chocobo inside to observe the dying, but you will be attacked the moment you dismount (if your level is low).

Anyway, wait for the Old Sabertooth to die naturally. DO NOT attack it, it has to die peacefully at home in order for this to work. When it does die, it will inexplicably turn instantly into bones. Inspect the tiger bones to receive the tiger fang. Return to Perih Vashi in Windurst Woods to receive 320 gil, Ranger's Necklace, and the Advanced Ranger Job.
