While running through Ordelle's Caverns looking for a chest in order to complete the
Signed in Blood quest, I came across this thick little semifluid mass of partly digested food that was passed from a Stroper's stomach to it's duodenum
* (for more information about the Stroper's duodenum, see footnotes below).
The Stroper Chyme pretty much spawned right in front of me. So, kudos to Square-Enix for randomizing the spawn points a little more. Although these guys are still camped, they're so spread out that it allows random bystanders (like me) to have chance happenings at them.
What's mildly funny about this story is that I had gotten sickness from picking a trapped chest just before I stumbled upon him. Therefore, my attack speed was greatly reduced and I had about 400 max HP. So it was actually almost a fair fight. Like a school of hungry sharks, the gil sellers could smell blood and started to encircle me; especially near the end of the battle when my health started to dip into the red. But, luckily for me, I won.
Not only that, but he just happened to have an
Archer's Ring on him! ^^
Thank you, little piece of partly digested food, for 850,000 gil!
