Client	Summary
	Mertaire (Merry Minstrel Meadhouse, Lower Jeuno) Take Mertaire's bracelet to Ranguemont Pass and immerse it in the Waters of Oblivion.

You must have a Lv.40 Bard in order to receive this quest.
Talk to Mertaire (I-8) in the Merry Minstrel Meadhouse of Lower Jeuno. He will give you a bracelet that he wishes you to throw into the Water of Oblivion in Ranguemont Pass.
Travel to Ranguemont Pass via East Ronfaure or Beaucedine Glacier.
You will be headed to the Waters of Oblivion, located in the small, northeastern-most room (D-5) of the dungeon.
If you are below or around Lv.40, you will most likely only need Sneak to get past the Bats, Hecteyes, Weapons, and Scorpions. You will need Invisible to get past the Ahriman and Goblins.
The room that you want to find will be filled with Evil Weapons. Before examining the Waters of Oblivion, you will need to kill all of the Weapons in the room. Melees should save their TP from the Weapon fights for the upcoming NM battle.
When you are ready, examine the Waters of Oblivion. Doing so will spawn the NM Sea Monk named Tros (Lv.44).
Tros is weak to Ice and Lightning, and is weak to magic. If you're a Bard, play Water Carol and keep Barwatera up at all times.
When Tros is defeated, examine the Waters of Oblivion again for a cutscene.
Mertaire will appear and hand you the Paper Knife.
