After helping Juhle pop a Onzozo Treasure Chest for the A Test of True Love quest, I was resting outside in Bubu, when I got a tell from Syrinx. As it turns out, they were there hunting Mysticmaker, but not soon after they engaged Chupa d/c'd, chaos ensued, and poor Syrinx died. :(

So, after getting some map co-ordinates from Syrinx's party, we raised her and escaped once Chupa reconnected. Syrinx and her crew are from the Hamadryads of Ladon LS (Pidge's shell) and have helped me a bunch, especially when it comes to Alchemy, so naturally I offered my assistance.

After another brief d/c, we made it back to where Mysticmaker had spawned (I-9, iirc). He was still there, but we had to wait for the gobs near him to go away. I definately wouldn't recommend any party lower than 60 to try him. Especially since most of the other mobs there will agg on sight, even after level 60. Luckily tho, we didn't get a link and were able to dispose of him quite easily. Elemental Seal + Silence is your friend. ^^
