Muddy Siredon is a small type fish and can only be caught on the barge during the Newt Pool route or in Carpenters' Landing at the Newt Pool. KoolAid members have caught Muddy Siredons with the following:

Note: The siredon is a fairly common catch on the barge, but it is extremely rare catch at the newt pool in carpenters' landing.

Lufaise Fly can be purchased in Tavnazian Safehold or from the Tavnazian regional vendors if you have gained access to Tavnazia. I've heard that a Frog Lure may also be used to catch the Muddy Siredon, but I lost my lure while trying to confirm it.

Trade a Muddy Siredon to Lourdaude @ (J-10), the tonberry who stands next to Anguenet at the South Landing, he will ask for 100g and give you a Blackened Muddy Siredon in return.

The Blackened Muddy Siredon is used for CoP Chapter 5-3 Mithra BCNM: Head Wind.
