| Lost for Words | There are reports that the Cat Burglar has her paws on a "Book of the Gods," a restricted book that was lost twenty years ago. Assist the Optistery in investigating the reports, and attempt to retrieve the priceless, but dangerous, tome. |
- Talk to Tosuke-Porika in the Optistery in Windurst Waters (G-8)
- Talk to Nanaa Mihgo in Windurst Woods (J-3)
- Go to the Maze of Shakhrami and examine a Fossil Rock (H-4, second map) to get a key item
- Return to Nanaa Mihgo to get a key item
- Enter Inner Horutoto Ruins from East Sarutabaruta (J-7)
- Inside, enter the Cracked Wall (G-8)
- You are now in Beetle's Burrow, examine the Mahogany Door (G-8) for a cut-scene
- Go to House of the Hero in Windurst Walls (G-3)
- Go back to Tosuke-Porika to complete the mission
