(Aht Urhgan Whitegate) (L-9)

Your mission is to hunt down Lamia No.13, a fearsome creature known to have performed vile experiments on the countless corpses of her enemies.

Area:
Ilrusi Atoll

Objective:
Eliminate Lamia No.13.

Recruitment:
Lv.70, 3-6 mercenaries.

Lamia No13

Strategy:
(per Mash): This assault actually gets easier with less people, it is too easy with 3. The key to this assault is to have lots of dispel (either the rdm spell or the bard song). Tho neither is 100% hit, dispel allows you to erase the charm effect on any of your party or any of the npcs. Subbing rdm for dispel also works quite well.

Recommended setup: Mage, Mage/Refresher, Tank (for instance whm/rdm, brd/whm, pld/war). Open with dispel on the wizard and the warrior, have your tank run in and voke, dispel the 3rd npc as soon as you can. Always keep the mages out of charm range and always keep stoneskin/blink up, because No. 13 will recharm often, and it'll be a race between the charmed npcs (and your charmed tank) and your dispel recast timer.

If you're going in with six, it gets a little tricky, since you'll most likely have more melee on the lamia which equates to more dispels needed after she AoE charms. Use the terrain to your advantage and kite, kite, kite while you are dispelling. Any ranged melee here rock (like ranger or cor) since they can deal damage while staying out of charm range (and give charmed npcs a punching bag so the mages can focus on dispel without getting interrupted after an AoE charm).

Another strategy people like to use on this one is to have everyone stay within charm range and hope you all get charmed (and all become uncharmed at the same time).
