ClientSummary
Irmilant (Near the oasis, Rabao)Irmilant has asked you to bring the two base materials required to craft a legendary fishing rod. These materials seem to have found their way into the bellies of sea creatures that still elude the finest fishermen.

Serpent Rumors Fishing guild point item is required to start this quest (78 fishing skill - Adept rank required), and Mooching (88 fishing skill - Veteran rank required) is also recommended.

You must fish up legendary fish and trade them to Zaldon (Inside the Belly) for Ex bait (this can be done at any time) that is used to fish up another legendary fish (Serpent Rumors required) which is then traded to Zaldon in hopes of the Rare/Ex materials for the Ebisu Fishing Rod.

Trade Cave Cherax to Zaldon for the reward of a Dwarf Pugil (Ex) in order to fish up Lik which may result in a Saber Shoot (Rare/Ex).

Trade Sea Zombie to Zaldon for the reward of a Drill Calamary (Ex) in order to fish up Gugrusarus which may result in an Opal Silk (Rare/Ex).

Upon obtaining the Saber Shoot and Opal Silk trade them to Irmilant and allow him to craft your rod. You may return the next day to obtain your Ebisu Fishing Rod!

Reward: Ebisu Fishing Rod
Pre-requisites: Serpent Rumors Fishing guild point item
Title Received: Indomitable Fisher
