Client	Summary
	Zeid (Zeruhn Mines) Zeid, the sole master of the dark knight in Vana'diel, has been sighted in the Palborough Mines. If you seek him out, he may make you an apprentice.

Level any job to 30.
Talk to Gumbah in the upper level of the Mines District (J-7) to receive the quest.
Hike up (or take the first floor's elevator at I-8) to the third floor of the Palbrough Mines. Using the Sneak spell to get past aggressive Quadav is recommended for characters who are level 30 or below.
At H-8 of the third floor, immediately, inexplicably, take the river boat back to Bastok's Zeruhn Mines. As you arrive in Zeruhn Mines, a cutscene involving Zeid will ensue and you you'll receive the two-handed sword Chaosbringer.
The Chaosbringer is a Lv.1 Great Sword than can only be equipped by WAR and DRK. It has extremely weak damage and an exceptionally long delay of 666, so unless you have a previously leveled WAR with an existing skill in Great Sword, killing 100 monster types is going to take some time.
Equip the sword and kill one-hundred of any enemy type. You will need to keep track of how many enemies you have defeated, the game will not do it for you.
Please keep in mind that the finishing blow must come from the sword. Defeating an enemy using a Weapon Skill, magic, or a ranged attack will NOT count as one of the 100 kills. Damage over time (i.e. Dia, Bio, etc) and monster suicide (i.e. Meltdown, Final Sting, etc) will also not count toward the final 100 kills.
You can zone, log out, and even die. None of these events will reset your death count. You can come back days later and pick up where you left off.
After one-hundred (or more) kills, journey to the entrance of Beadeaux (located at the southeast corner of Pashhow Marshland).
As you zone into Beadeaux, a cutscene will ensue, the quest will end, and you shall receive the advanced job: Dark Knight.
At this point, if you would like to upgrade the Chaosbringer, proceed to the Blade of Death quest.
