Learning Notes

Sabotenders can be found only in the Kuzotz Region. Eastern Altepa Desert supplies the lowest level Sabotenders to learn 1000 Needles. Sabotenders can be found in Western Altepa Desert, Quicksand Caves, and Kuftal Tunnel.

Learning Suggestions

Learning 1000 Needles in a party is the safest way to learn the spell. Spreading the HP Loss across multiple people helps prevent death. This spell can be obtained solo with the right spells available, when fighting the weakest Sabotenders in Eastern Altepa desert. It is recommended you have at least 1000 HP before attempting to solo the Sabotender. Pinecone Bomb the Sabotender until half health remains. Ensure you have Stoneskin, and Blink available when you engage to give the Sabotender TP. With luck, the Sabotender will use 1000 Needles as it nears 0 HP. Use a high damage spell to immediately kill the Sabotender after the 1000 Needles fires, and the spell animation is finished.
