White Mage __How to Obtain:__ This job is initially available to new characters. The White Mage (WHM) is an integral part of any party. Replete with spells of healing and protection, the White Mages are necessary to make sure that the group stays alive and well throughout an enemy encounter. White Mages are not all that wonderful in hand-to-hand combat, nor are they extremely capable of dishing out damage to most enemies. An exception would be the undead, who find themselves vulnerable to damage from spells of healing.
