Monks like to punch things, and then kick them on occasion too. Some players say one of the best things about a monk is the visceral feeling you get when your character punches the enemy. You can almost feel the hits, which are often fast and furious. This is the best reason to play a monk, you love that feeling that you're really up close and personal with your enemies, that you taking them to town with your bare (or nearly bare) hands.\\ Monk is also one of the best "farming" jobs, because they have very high HP, strong attacks and the Chakra ability (self-healing).\\ Endgame it seems many monks collect a set of max-mnd gear so they can deliver Chi Blasts of over 1500 damage.
