1 Kreutzet {image:Kreutzet1.jpg} Decided to camp this guy after a unexpected and unscheduled server maintenance. During the 12 hour wait that it eventually took for [Kreutzet] to spawn, I worked the latent off my __[Heart Snatcher]__ with Esger (thanks Esger!) and farmed Manticore Hair off the VT creatures for my future Bonecrafting skill-ups. During this time I also met a nice gentleman named __Bodhii__ (hi Bodhii!). We stuck it out past all the other campers and then, about 9 hours into the wait, we decided to join our teams together for the fight. Well, [Kreutzet] spawned about 14 minutes into the 12th hour in the middle of the wind element. He practically spawned right in the entrance of the cave. We pulled him in and started the fight. The first thing I noticed was that he was a lot more accurate than other accounts have given him credit for; he ate through my shadows rather quickly and was usually able to interrupt me once or twice (my evasion is capped at 286). His lowest __Stormwind__ did 164 damage while his highest did 328. He does this move three times in a row, one a second or two after the other. My __Dancing Edge__ did anywhere from 113-369 damage (with no SATA partner) and my normal hits were usually around mid to hi-30s. I actually whiffed quite a bit during the fight. It didn't help that he has an ability called __Scratch__ which does around 100-150 damage and blinds you; it's the bad kind of blind too where you can't hit anything at all. Not to mention that he's one of those obnoxious NMs that likes to use their special ability on you again the split second that you get a Blindna cast on you >.< When he was able to get through my shadows, [Kreutzet] would hit me for around 200-250 damage. I couldn't get one ranged attack to land (no Bloody Bolts or Acid Bolts). His __Triple Attack__ ability once did 358 damage to me and then, near the end of the fight, did 611 damamge to me. He can be duo'd by a THF or NIN tank with a WHM or RDM healer—although I think it would be best to get another mage or BRD and trio him. Actually, it would probably be best to just to get your entire LS to come out and help you out. . . if they have the Cape Terrigan outpost warp and are so inclined. ^^ He will only spawn during the wind effect and will despawn when it fades. If he is not claimed during that wind effect, his timer will restart and you will have to wait another 9 hours to try him again.
