The Holy Crest

Started in Port SD. Talk to the two gentlemen Arminibit and Ceraulian at the top part of one of the warehouses in Port SD. They'll drop hints which lead you to the Chateau, go there. After entering thru the doors, go to the Bostaunieux Oubliette by taking your first right. Look for the prison cellars and talk to the npc guard Novalmauge. Another cutscene will ensue, leading you to the cathedral.

After entering the cathedral, take a left and go in to that first room, take a left and talk to the elf in adventurer's clothing (i.e.-the one that is not a priest) Morjean. He'll start another cutscene which will introduce you to Oiheaurese. He'll tell you to retrieve a wyvern egg from the Shakrami Maze.

Before leaving for the maze, don't forget to pick up a pickaxe. You only need one, I don't believe they break when searching for this item, but you may want to take 2 just in case. Once in the maze, search for an "Excavation Point". These are just like the "Mining Point"s you'll find in Gusgen, intermittent and random. It took us about 30 mins to find two spots, and they quickly disappeared (G-8) and (I-7). Trade the pickaxe with the Excavation Point to receive your egg. Then, return to Morjean.

Return to the cathedral and speak with Morjaen, another cutscen, and now your task is to place the egg on the far eastern tip of Drogaroga's Spine located in the Merphataud Mountains.

This is as far as I got with the quest. But eventually, you'll end up fighting a dragon in Ghelsba Outpost or Meriphataud Mountains. You will almost able to solo the dragon, so you really only need 2 people (preferrably one who can heal). Also, anybody that is on the quest, or has completed it, can enter the tent with the quester. If you're not on the quest, you'll be stuck outside, although you can watch the fight on the other side of a fenced area. :)
