Carbuncle Debacle

After speaking with Carbuncle at the House of the Hero in Windurst Walls, speak with Koru-Moru inside his home @ (E-7). He suggests you seek the aid of the Rhinostery, but there is no need to visit the Rhinostery in Windurst Waters.

Travel to Mhaura and speak with Ripapa @ (I-9) to receive your Lightning Pendulum (not key item), which you must take deep withing the Boyahda Tree to the Cloister of Storms. Upon trading the Lightning Pendulum to the Lightning Protocrystal you may enter the battle field with up to 18 people. Inside you will face 2 weapon type mobs: Lightning Gremlin and Thunder Gremlin. Upon defeating the NM you will not receive a key item nor do you need to touch the protocrystal a second time.

Return to Windurst Walls and speak with Koru-Moru @ E-7 for a cutscene and to receive a Daze-breaker charm (Key Item). Next travel to Rabao and speak with Agado-Pugado @ (G-9) to receive your Wind Pendulum (not key item), which you must take to the Cloister of Gales. Upon trading the Wind Pendulum to the Wind Protocrystal you may enter the battle field with up to 18 people. Inside you will face a Manticore NM: Ogmios (beware of AOE silence, dispel, and max MP down). Upon defeating the NM you will not receive a key item nor do you need to touch the protocrystal a second time.

Return to Windurst Walls once again and speak with Koru-Moru to receive your reward: Evoker's Horn!

*You must be a level 50 Summoner to activate this quest, but after activating it you may complete the quest as any other job.
